FG RELEASES N6.5BN FOR COVID-19 EMERGENCY







As the battle against the novel Coronavirus intensifies, the Federal Government has announced plans of releasing additional N6.5billion as an emergency intervention to the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC),  Bashir Ahmad, the personal assistant on new media to President Buhari revealed on Thursday.

 According to Ahmad, the move which was confirmed by Nigeria’s Finance Minister, Zainab Ahmed, is to aid in the fight to curb the spread of the COVID19 in the country.

A 15-year-old girl, Sekinat Agbelade, was said to have been shot dead by men of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) in Agosasa, Ipokia Local area of Ogun State, DAILY POST reports. The founder of House of Joy Ministry, Bishop Sam Zuga, says he has a spiritual formula that will put an end to the scourge of Coronavirus. Bishop Zuga again called on Nigerians to refer Coronavirus patient to him, saying that has come up with a solution to tackle the dreaded virus. In a statement he signed, the Benue-born cleric described the spiritual formula as 37²7, adding that it would be effective from Wednesday, April 1, 2020.
